A November complaint submitted by parishioners of Saint Matthias Church in Chicago, Illinois to the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura in Rome, Italy accused the Archdiocese of Chicago of presenting church authorities with inaccurate assessments of Saint Matthias’ viability to remain open.
