The Diocese of Altoona–Johnstown, Pennsylvania, citing a declining number of priests and a dwindling population, merged Saint Columba, Saints Casimir and Emerich, Saint Stephen, Saint Rochus and Immaculate Conception into Resurrection Parish. The former Saint Stephen Church became the combined congregation's home and the former Saint Rochus Church became part of the parish complex.
A nonprofit group, 1901 Church Inc., eventually took over the other three buildings, with the former Immaculate Conception Church now known as The Grand Halle on Broad Street, one of the premier concert and event venues in the region.
