About the Event
Hoping to share a uniquely authentic Valentine’s Day experience? Meet us to explore three historic destinations dedicated to the mystery of Love. This tour will consider the four classical forms of love* through its art, architecture and amazing Chicago history! Â
We will take in the high points of Canaryville and Bridgeport churches - inlcuding they only Catholic Church built by the Architect of Chicago, Daniel Burnham, one that was home to the old mayor Daley, and another that houses an actual relic of St Valentine! Learn more about his story too as we celebrate his day. Each stop tells a different love story, beautifully exemplifed through the art and architecture, that reveals how love prevails.Â
