About the Event
Take a trip with the Irish on this tour of beauty! We will start at St Gabriel, set in Canaryville and famous in part due to it's architect, Daniel Burhnam, who is also considered to be the architect of Chicago itself. Nativity of Our Lord, in Bridgeport, also known as Daley's church is not only lovely, but is rife with history and alive with continuing neighborly activity. We will include a little German masterpiece that resonates with prayerful contemplation and a multi-domed Romanesque beauty that is not terribly shy about it's bizantine influences.
