Our tour, by coach bus, (not canoe!) will transport us through the "South Shore" neighborhood of Chicago.
Woven into the masterpieces of Chicago history are four victories of beauty and stability. One was very nearly destroyed in a 2016 fire and comes with at least one miracle story, the saving grace of an iconic image. Another is a Tudor Gothic, fitted with alabaster statues, German woodworking and Irish stained glass. It is not out-done by the third: A sturdy Romanasque workman's parish and the foundation for two other churches - or the fourth! that rises as if sliced from the side of the Tatra Mountains an old world Gothic. Come explore them with a reliable, knowledgeable guide.
