Route 66: Section #1

Route 66 is turning 100! Let’s hit the road in celebration! We plan to check out the route and stop at three lovely, lively sacred spaces long the way. Your guides will travel the route meeting you at each stop to give an inside and onsite tour that connects the Mother Road, then and now!

The very beginning of Rt 66 is at Adams/Michigan Ave., but our guide will meet you outside Old St Pat’s, the oldest church in Chicago. It's lovely and unique interior blends the old and new. We will then travel to St Mary of Czestochowa, a brick Gothic with a resilient community that absorbed the pain of the Eastland Disaster funerals and continues to sustain a stable spiritual and cultural community.
