Join in to explore two historic churches with one enthusiastic - and very knowledgable- guide!
These European churches have fortified Chicago for over a centry with monumental expressions of strength, faith and beauty.
Artwork includes a dome- hand painted with dozens of figures, stained glass of three distinct types of workmanship, numerous statues and many relics. We will visit “The hidden jewel of Bucktown” and The Basilica of St. Hyacinth.
A family style lunch will be served at a charming Polish restaurant. Lunch includes: chicken soup, potato and cheese pierogi, klumke, plazek, aka potato pancakes, cucumber salad and cheese blintzes.
