About the Event
Catholic Church Tours has been offering a variety of "Polish Beauty" tours for over 10 years! The churches in these tours vary. Though they all certainly carry significance beyond the national culture, all were established by Polish immigrents and, in part, have remained standing due to their dilligence.
We will see St Mary of the Angels, a magestic masterpiece . The main 125 foot isle is designed for the bride. Its dome spans the heavens and is crested with images of the twevel apostles. Two other north-side churches, St John Cantius, and St Stanislaw Kostka, aka the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, have long history and notable beauty as well. All are popular because they retain undeniable grace and majesty.
Our guide will open up the meaning in the art and architecture, with a special focus on the local roots of international elements that make these three churches particualy significant.
