About the Event
This afternoon tour will begin at Chicago's St Stanislaw Kostka. As the mother church of numerous other churches and thousands of Polish immigrants, it has also become the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, a place of peace and around the clock prayer. We will also enjoy the largess of St Mary of the Angels, and St Hedwig, a lesser known yet gorgeous place of prayer. These remarkable churches harbored the original Polish exodus that ended up fortifying Chicago with monumental expressions of strength and beauty. The history, and architecture with consideration of the Polish Cathedral Style, as well as the relevance and current status of these churches will be presented. Join us with other visitors from Polonia Wisconsin in a professionally guided experience of the sacred.
Meet at: St Stanislaw Kostka, 1300 N. Noble Ave. Chicago IL
