About the Event
Pilsen is one of those neighborhoods lacking the massive teardowns that rip up history and toss it aside with the the tides of time. Join us in visiting three quiet exceptions to the city's frenetic energy. These beautiful churches, St Paul, St Procopius, and St Pius V, within which is the National Shrine of St Jude Thaddeus, are unique yet universal expressions of active joy, hope and love.
Again this year, this popular tour runs between two distinct and poignant Catholic "Feast Days", that of the Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Your guide will offer some insight in to their significance within the context of the communities we visit -- right along with the art, architecture, and historical context of these special destinations!
Time is allowed for individual exploration, photo taking and/or silent prayer. Transporation is on your own.
