About the Event
Our Lady of Champion, previously known as Our Lady of Good Help, is the destination of this one stop tour. It is the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States.
Among the known blessings brought by the presence of the Queen of Heaven in Champion is the preservation of the apparition site in spite of the sweeping 1871 Pestigo Fire. It was ablaze on the same date as the Chicago Fire, yet covered far more ground and caused more damage than any other fire in the history of the United States. Come walk the grounds that were left as an emerald isle amid ashes.
