Our Lady of Champion

Our Lady of Champion, previously known as Our Lady of Good Help, is the destination of this one-stop tour. It is the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States.   Among the known blessings brought by the presence of the Queen of Heaven in Champion is the preservation of the apparition site in 1871. The sweeping Pestigo Fire was ablaze on the same date as the Chicago Fire, yet covered far more ground and caused more damage than any other fire in the history of the United States. Come walk the grounds that were left as an emerald isle amid ashes. 

We will arrive in time for Mass with the three Bishops who were part of the process of officially authenticating the Apparition of Our Lady of Champion worthy of belief. They are coming together on this unique occasion to  publicly celebrate Mass, and separately discuss and provide video documentation of the process of authentication of the Apparition of Our Lady for future generations. They are Bishop Zubic of Pittsburgh, and Bishop Doerfler of Marquette, and Bishop Ricken of Green Bay. 

After Mass during lunch a thourogh historical presentation will be provided us about Our Lady of Champion.  You will then have time to visit the gift shop, history center, rosary walk, stations of the cross, the grottos, chapel and famous oratory.  Learn about the apparitions, pray as your heart desires, and let this simple place bless you and your companions.

Lunch comes wtih a beverage, chips and cookie plus sandwich or salad options that are available as you register.  Feel free to bring snacks or seal-able drinks for the ride.
