About the Event
This guided tour will feature DuPage County's oldest parish, St Peter and Paul in Naperville, where history and community is marked not only in the beauty of the Gothic church but also in the graceful, nearby cemetery – which we will explore! Additionally, we will uncover a hidden gem in Lisle: The Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel which is the heart of Villa St Benedict. This noble, sizable space and grand entry are artistically embellished by the famed John A. Mallin. We wont overlook the outdoor Grotto on the spacious grounds, made possible by an ignorant young French girl, a local craftsman and a couple of high school boys.
