About the Event

In 1966, eight brilliant renditions of Mary were brought to light by the artful craft and the experienced vision of the French stained glass artist Maurice Max Ingrand. They tell a story, a series of eight layered stories in fact, that we will guide you through in this Marian Stained Glass Window tour.

In addition, for comparison and to further the exploration, we will visit Queen of All Saints Basilica. Also built in the '60s, but in no boorish manner, it will provide further insight into the craft of stained glass, the influence of the past and, perhaps an insight into the future. We aim to unpack the history of each church right alongside the story and symbolism that help graft a continuity of community through these structures.
