About the Event
Chicago's legendary architectural firm Burnham and Root only executed one church design. It stubbornly squats in Canaryville under the patronage of St Gabriel, and we will explore it!
A distinctive neighbor, Nativity of Our Lord in Bridgeport, is the former mayor Dailey's old parish and a great place to visit in December. Join us also to walk under the triple domed St Mary of Perpetual Help, decadently decked even prior to Christmas, and to experience a rare inter-city Benedictan monastery - where we will sit to witness the short chanted-prayer, aptly called "Terce", to initiate our tour.
