About the Event
Join Holy Name Cathedral young adults, parishioners and friends on their 10th annual Lenten Pilgrimage. It will be a full pilgrimage that will include school bus transportation and boxed lunch on the go. We will visit one of the oldest Mexican churches in Chicago alive with heart felt devotion as evidenced by detailed craft, color and lit candles. We will see a little Czech church that is still a Chicago powerhouse - where we will have the opportunity to join in their 40 Hours Devotion, St Paul, that is famous for being noted in Ripley's Believe It or Not for being built without a nail, St Adalbert that features both remarkable stained glass and marble work and! the first French Church in the city, Notre Dame de Chicago. Its graceful architectural landscape reflects the feminine presence of the Patroness.
