About the Event
Our Lady of Champion is the destination of this one stop tour-pilgrimage. It is the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States. Among the many known blessings brought by the presence of the Queen of Heaven in Champion is the preservation of the apparition site from the devistation of the 1871 fire. The sweeping Pestigo Fire was ablaze on the same date as the Chicago Fire, yet covered far more ground and caused more damage than any other fire in the history of the United States. Come walk the grounds that were left as an emerald isle amid ashes.
We will arrive in time for Mass and a thorough historical presentation. Enjoy time to enjoy the rosary walk, meditate at the outdoor stations of the cross, visit the grottos, chapel and the famous oratory where Our Lady spoke to Adelle.  A great gift shop, informative history center.  Learn…
