Michelangelo’s Pietà Restored Thanks to Friends of Florence

The lengthy restoration of Michelangelo’s Pietà has been completed at the Opera del Duomo Museum. Funded by the US non-profit Friends of Florence association, the restoration started in November 2019 and was interrupted several times due to pandemic restrictions.
