Hallowed Ground – Cemetery Tour (1)

Famous architectural landmarks, Holy Souls and peaceful resting grounds are the subject of this November tour.

Queen of Heaven cemetery is beautifully landscaped, historically and artistically rich, including a (huge) Neo-Gothic Revival mausoleum colorfully appointed in mosaic, metal work, stone and wood carvings and tile. And yes, the famous and infamous are interred there along with the humbly innocent and near-forgotten.
