Beauty, Truth and Goodness

About the Event
Can you imagine how beauty, truth and goodness might be embodied if they took on concrete form?
Come and see how it is done: stunningly rich architectural landscapes that sooth and inspire, shape and evoke one's understanding of transcendence.
This tour will take you from the Neo-Gothic to the Neo-Clasical, from paintings to windows, from historic and sacred scenes with civic and religious themes to the active participation of joy-filled guys and gals at Miserecordia. Each of these remarkable important places embody the then and the now of life - such as a reliquary room that doubles as a baptistery - or the now and then of life, such as the solid vault of masonry that gives evidence to ethereal mystery of the Heavenly court.
What will be your favorite: the solid squat style of the Neo-Classical church?... Or the art studios? Coffee shop? Gift store or tour of the bakery. We will see two churches and enjoy lunch served by the “friendliest waitstaff in town” at the Green House Inn.
Please call Mona at: 773-927-6646 to register with our partnering organization for this tour, St Mary of Perpetual Help.
